The greatest danger for wooden decking is waterlogging. Where wooden components rest and are not surrounded by air, moisture can collect and damage the wood sooner or later. Our 8 mm thick pads made of rubber granulate are designed to keep the substructure timbers at a distance from the support points (e.g. concrete slabs). This ensures the drying of moisture and prevents moisture from the substructure from rising into the wood.
