OneStopDeckShop – General Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made from OneStopDeckShop, including purchases made through our website, by phone, email or in-store.
By placing an order with OneStopDeckShop, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. About OneStopDeckShop
OneStopDeckShop is a supplier of decking, timber, landscaping products, fixings, coatings and related outdoor products. We supply materials to customers for their own projects and do not provide building or installation services unless specifically stated.
2. Products & Product Information
We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, specifications, dimensions and pricing displayed on our website are accurate and up to date.
However, natural timber can vary in colour, grain, texture, knots, dimensions and appearance. Product samples and photographs should therefore be considered indicative only.
Timber dimensions may also vary within normal industry tolerances.
We reserve the right to correct errors in product descriptions, pricing or availability where an error has occurred.
3. Pricing
All prices are displayed in New Zealand dollars and include GST unless otherwise stated.
Prices and promotions may change without notice. The price applicable to your order will be the price confirmed at the time your order is accepted.
Freight and delivery charges may apply and will be advised at the time of purchase.
4. Orders
An order is considered accepted once payment has been received and OneStopDeckShop has confirmed the order.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where, for example:
- a product is unavailable
- an incorrect price or product description has been displayed
- there has been an obvious website or system error or
- we are unable to fulfil the order for reasons outside our reasonable control.
If we cancel an order after payment has been received, we will arrange a refund of the amount paid for the cancelled order.
5. Product Availability
While we endeavour to maintain accurate stock information, website stock levels are not guaranteed until your order has been confirmed by OneStopDeckShop.
If a product becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, we will contact you to discuss the available options.
6. Payment
Payment must be made in accordance with the payment options provided by OneStopDeckShop.
For website orders, payment is generally required before the order is processed.
We may not release goods until payment has been received and cleared.
7. Delivery & Freight
Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary depending on product availability, location, freight capacity, weather, traffic and other circumstances outside our control.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that delivery details and access information supplied to OneStopDeckShop are accurate.
The delivery location must have suitable and safe access for the delivery vehicle being used.
Where a delivery cannot be completed because of unsuitable access, incorrect information or the customer not being available when required, additional delivery charges may apply.

8. Checking Your Order
Customers should check their order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery or collection.
Please check quantities, product types and visible condition before commencing installation or cutting.
If there is an issue with your order, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can investigate and work with you to resolve the issue.
9. Installation & Use of Products
OneStopDeckShop supplies materials only and is not responsible for the design, installation or construction of a customer’s project unless specifically agreed otherwise.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that products are suitable for their intended application and are installed in accordance with relevant manufacturer instructions, building requirements and applicable New Zealand standards.
Where professional advice, engineering or building consent is required, customers should obtain this before commencing their project.
10. Natural Timber
Timber is a natural product and can change after purchase due to exposure to sunlight, moisture, temperature and other environmental conditions.
Changes such as colour variation, surface checking, movement, splitting, knots and grain variation can occur and may be considered normal characteristics of natural timber.
Customers should follow the recommended storage, preparation, installation and maintenance requirements for the product purchased.
11. Refunds & Returns

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes any rights a customer may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986, or any other applicable New Zealand law.
12. Quotes & Estimates
Quotes and estimates provided by OneStopDeckShop are based on the information available to us at the time the quote is prepared.
Unless specifically stated, quotes are not a guarantee of the exact quantity of material required for a customer’s project.
Customers are responsible for confirming measurements, dimensions and project requirements before placing an order.
Where OneStopDeckShop provides a free deck plan, take-off or material estimate, this is intended as a helpful guide and should be checked by the customer or their builder/installer before construction.
13. Website Information
We aim to keep our website accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that the website will always be error-free, uninterrupted or completely up to date.
We may change products, pricing, website content, promotions or services at any time.
14. Promotions & Special Offers
Promotions and special offers are subject to any specific terms stated with the promotion.
Unless otherwise stated, promotions cannot be combined with other offers and are available only while stocks last.
15. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, OneStopDeckShop is not responsible for loss or damage resulting from incorrect product selection, incorrect measurements, improper storage, installation, use or maintenance of products.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability or customer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited under New Zealand law.

Any personal information provided to OneStopDeckShop will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
17. Changes to These Terms
