Vitex is a tropical hardwood decking that has been used extensively as an exterior decking in New Zealand for about 30 years and is generally regarded as an excellent exterior joinery and decking species. Vitex has a useful combination of strength durability and stability. It is easy to work and weathers to a fine driftwood silver-grey finish.
